God Will Help Us Win This War!

 

Today our hearts are breaking as we view the damage done
By terrorist fanatics who despise our way of life.
They think they can divide us, and destroy our faith in God,
And make us weak and helpless, full of enmity and strife.

But they don’t understand the faith that keeps our country strong,
Or how we rally ‘round a brother when we see him fall.
Nor could they have foreseen the heroes….ordinary men
Who rose to meet the challenge as they sacrificed their all.

And though our tears are falling as we search amid the ruins,
And pull the mangled bodies of our comrades who are gone,
It only makes us stronger as we join in one accord,
To rid the world of terrorists, and right this dreadful wrong.

We’re trusting in the Lord to lead our nation in this war,
We’re praying for His blessings on this land that we all love.
We’ll give the task our courage, and if need our sacrifice,
For truth is on our side, and we are guided from above.

So be aware, bin Laden, and the cowards that you lead.
Your days on earth are numbered, and your guilt will make you pay.
We’re strong, and we will fight till we are safe again once more.
Nor stop until we find you, for you cannot get away!
