BECAUSE YOU PRAYED

You faithfully sought God's provision for my needs each day,

And prayed that He would bless me as I tried to point the way,

I felt His strength, while others fell around me in the fray,

Because you prayed.


You sensed my need for help to solve a problem I must face,

And though you knew no details, still you asked God's love and grace,

And He provided answers, and gave me a resting place,

Because you prayed.


I've often felt my faith renewed, with doubts and fears relieved,

And been amazed to feel God's power, and all that's been achieved,

And so I kneel and thank the Lord for blessings I've received,

Because you prayed.
