MY PRAISE TO YOU

Dear Lord, I long to praise You
With the work You’d have me do,
But when I can no longer work,
I’ll sing my praise to You.

And when my strength is failing,
So I can no longer sing,
I still will try to witness
For my Savior God and King.

But when my breath is shallow,
And the words are hard to say,
I’ll listen for Your leading,
As I use that time to pray.

Then when my life is ebbing,
Til I can no longer pray,
I know You’ll lead me safely home,
Where in Your arms I’ll stay.
