BUT
JESUS
SAID
I
MUST
FORGIVE
Oh,
Lord,
my
heart
is
breaking,
and
my
pillow
drips
with
tears.
I
toss
and
turn
through
sleepless
nights
with
all
my
doubts
and
fears.
I
can't
forget
the
one
who
caused
my
tortured
heart
such
grief.
I
think
about
it
day
and
night,
and
cannot
find
relief.
BUT
JESUS
SAID
I
MUST
FORGIVE.
The
one
who
brought
such
pain
to
me
should
live
in
anguish
too,
And
know
the
awful
suffering
that
I
am
going
through.
I
think
of
retribution,
and
of
ways
with
which
to
pay
For
all
the
hurt
and
sorrow
that
was
caused
to
come
my
way.
BUT
JESUS
SAID
I
MUST
FORGIVE.
Dear
Lord,
I
think
of
all
the
sins
that
I
am
guilty
of,
And
how
You
died
upon
the
cross
because
of
Your
great
love,
So
I
could
be
forgiven,
with
eternity
in
view.
Forgive
me
for
forgetting
I
should
be
forgiving
too!
FOR
YOU
HAVE
SAID
I
MUST
FORGIVE.
Repentant
tears
are
flowing
now,
as
truly
I
forgive
The
one
who
took
away
my
joy
and
my
desire
to
live.
And
now
my
heart
is
overflowing
with
a
joy
that's
new,
So
thank
You,
Lord,
for
bringing
back
my
fellowship
with
You,
AND
LOVING
ME,
AS
I
FORGIVE.
