I
KNOW WHERE TO GO
by
Betty Jo Mings
I know where to go when
I’m hurting.
I know where to go when
I’m sad.
I go to the source of all
comfort,
The best friend that
I’ve ever had.
He tells me He’ll never
forsake me,
And always will hear when
I call.
He steadies my heart when
I tremble,
And holds me close, lest I
should fall.
I never could manage
without Him;
My Jesus, my Savior, my
Friend.
None other can fill my
deep longings,
And so, on His Name I
depend.
Whenever I feel a deep
burden,
My heart is assured as I
pray
That no matter what should
befall me,
He’ll see that it turns
out okay.
I pray you will trust in
my Jesus;
His love and forgiveness
to know,
So when all life’s
troubles assail you,
You, too, will know right
where to go.
