John 11: 25~26 Jesus said
unto her, I Am the Resurrection, and
the Life: he that believeth in me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever
liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
Believest thou this?

THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD
I cannot comprehend this grief that I am forced to bear.
I've asked the Lord to tell me why He doesn't seem to care.
My tears flow like a river, while my heart constricts with pain,
And all the joy that once I knew, it seems I can't regain.

The only solace I can find is going to God's Word,
Where I'm assured I'll find the help to calm and undergird.
But still I find God's sovereignty I'll never understand,
And I will never know the reasons for the things He's planned.

I only know He loves me, and is working for my best.
And He has promised if I'm faithful, He will give me rest.
While drawing on His comfort, that my empty heart can fill,
I find that I'm a partner in the working of His will.

The Master Potter knows I'm weak, and have no strength to stand,
And yet He is remolding me, with sure and steady hand.
He's making something beautiful from my life's damaged clay,
And He will wrap me in His love, with strength to face each day.
