MY HEART'S CRY FOR YOU

I found a priceless treasure when I met the God of love,
And asked Him to forgive my sins, and write my name above.
Oh, how I long for you, my Friend, to know my Jesus too;
To have Him take away your sins, and make your heart brand new

I long for you to know the joy of having answered prayer,
To know He cares for you so much he numbers every hair.
I pray that you will feel the peace that Christ alone can give,
To be assured He’ll care for you as long as you shall live.

I pray you’ll know for certain where you’ll spend eternity,
For Jesus has prepared a home above for you and me.
But oh, the sorrow that awaits for those who don’t believe –
Eternal punishment in Hell if Christ you don’t receive.

And that is why, my precious Friend, I pray for you each day,
And why, with tears, I’ve tried so hard to point you to The Way.
You have to make a choice regarding your eternal fate.
Oh, ask the Lord to save your soul before it is too late!
