I LOVE YOU, DEAR LORD

I never could manage without You.
I couldn’t survive on my own.
And I wonder how those who don’t know You
Can handle their problems alone.

The first thing I do when I’m hurting,
Or when there’s a problem I face,
Is go straight for help to Your storehouse,
And drink from Your fountain of grace.

You’re never too busy to hear me,
And answer whenever I call.
If I sin and repent, You’ll forgive me,
And bind up my wounds when I fall.

My dear, precious Lord, how I love You,
And thank You for giving Your all.
I pray I will stay close beside You,
And listen whenever You call.
