WE FIND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

If we never look up, we’ll see stones in our path,
And we’ll miss all the flowers that bloom.
If we’re sure life’s not fair, we’ll see only dark clouds,
And we’ll find life is riddled with gloom.

If we search for the rainbow that’s back of the clouds,
We will find it is waiting our view.
And as we remember the reason it shines,
We’re reminded God’s promise is true.

No matter how many our heartaches and pains,
When we count all the blessings we share,
We still can be happy and thankful to God
For His bountiful goodness and care.
