GOD'S PROMISE

The Lord has promised comfort for
My times of deep despair.
He promised if I truly seek Him,
He will meet me there.

My tears are precious to Him, and
He feels my grief and pain.
He gently binds my wounds, and turns
My losses into gain.

He tells me He will work all things
Together for my best.
If I just learn to lean on Him,
Then He will do the rest.

He always will be there for me,
No matter where I roam,
Until some day He takes my hand,
And leads me safely home.
