A PRAYER FOR YOU
No matter if we're large or small,
When prayers are prayed, God hears them all.
And so I pray for you, dear friend,
God's richest blessings, without end.
THE FAITH OF A LITTLE CHILD
My little four-year-old grandson Aaron (pictured above) has learned to love and trust Jesus, and we are often touched by the faith of this sweet child.
Our family was shocked and saddened when we heard that my husband had been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow. Aaron saw his
mother crying, and he said, "Why are you crying, Mommy?" She told him she was crying because Grandpa was very sick, and he said, "Don't cry, Mommy. We can pray to Jesus, and Jesus will make him well."
Later that day Aaron called me on the telephone and he said, "I love you, Grandma." Then he sang to me "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away." How could I be sad with such love as that!
That evening when Aaron went to bed, he prayed very earnestly, without any prompting, for his Grandpa to get well. I pray I will always have the faith of that little child - knowing how much God loves us, that He wants the very best for us, and will keep us in His loving care.
