Where
Can I Go?
John 14: 6 ~ 7 Jesus saith
unto him, I Am the Way, the Truth, and the
Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by
Me.
If ye had known Me, ye should have
known My Father also: and from henceforth ye
know Him, and have seen Him. ~

WHERE CAN I GO?

Where can I go to find comfort?
Who’ll dry all the tears from my eyes?
And Who understands my deep heartaches?
Who listens and hears my heart’s cries?
Who cares about all my sorrow?
Who sees the deep hurt down inside?
And whom can I trust with my burden?
Who knows just how hard I have tried?

These were the questions I pondered,
All through my dark, sleepless nights,
While dreading to face one more daybreak,
So filled with the same, endless frights.
But I finally reached for a Bible,
The one my Mom read long ago.
And I found in those pages the comfort,
And the answers my heart longed to know.
I read of a Savior Who loved me,
So much that He died for my sin,
Who offered me peace and forgiveness,
With new birth, by inviting Him in.

I now know the joy of salvation,
And a Father Who saves all my tears;
Who never will leave nor forsake me,
But takes away all of my fears.
Some day I’ll be with Him in Heaven,
When all of my work here is done.
I’ll join with the saints as we worship
At the feet of the Father’s own Son.
