MY HEART'S PRAYER



I want my life to be a testimony of God's grace,
And pray my Savior's love will be reflected in my face.

I pray I'll have the courage to point others to "The Way,"
But that my actions will speak louder than the words I say.

I pray I'll always seek forgiveness for each careless deed,
And that I'll never turn my back when someone has a need.

I pray the words of Jesus will take root within my soul,
Surrendering my body and my tongue to His control.

I pray I'll be a blessing 'til I reach life's setting sun,
So when my life is over I might hear God say, "Well done."
