THE GREATEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE

Are you concerned you haven’t done some mighty work today?
Or have you wanted to do more to help than “just to pray?”

Have you admired the heroes who seem always brave and strong
While you feel weak and helpless, and things seem to turn out wrong?

Remember that the Lord compared the tiny mustard seed
To faith that could accomplish some unheard of, awesome deed.

He drew apart from all the crowds to spend some time in prayer,
Because His own dear Father God was waiting for Him there.

He tells us all the things we can accomplish when we pray,
And faith is more important than the simple words we say.

God loves the ones who talk to Him throughout the day and night,
And trust Him and believe in Him by faith, and not by sight.

So if you have a friend or loved one burdened down with care,
The greatest help that you can give is just the gift of prayer.
