Jesus!
His very Name brings solace when I’m longing for a
friend.
His loving arms enfold me as He bids my sorrows end.
Jesus!
No other Name could calm me when the storm clouds
o’er me roll,
None other could bring hope into my anxious,
troubled soul.
Jesus!
The precious Son of God Who died so I might fully
live;
Who paid the price to ransom me, and all my sins
forgive.
Jesus!
The One Who listens to my prayers, and shows me what
is best;
Who gently wipes away my tears while giving peaceful
rest.
Jesus!
The King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, Who takes me
by the hand,
And lifts me up when I am down, and gives me
strength to stand.
Jesus!
Oh, how I long to be with Him on Heaven’s shining
shore,
Where I’ll fall down in worship, and will praise
Him evermore!
